It was aged in a combination of American white oak ex-bourbon barrels and Spanish ex-oloroso sherry butts. The whisky has a rich, full-bodied flavor with notes of toasted almonds, sweet dried fruits, and a hint of spice. The finish is long and smooth, with a hint of smoke.
