Dalmore 1990 SV
The Dalmore 1990 SV (Single Vintage) is a single malt Scotch whisky from the Dalmore Distillery in the Scottish Highlands. It was bottled in 2020 and is a limited edition release of only 1000 bottles. The whisky was aged for 30 years in American white oak ex-bourbon barrels, followed by a finish in rare Vintage Port pipes from the Douro Valley in Portugal. The result is a complex whisky with notes of dried fruits, dark chocolate, orange zest, and a hint of spice. The finish is long and smooth, with a slight sweetness from the port influence. This is an excellent whisky for special occasions or to enjoy with friends.
