Dalmore 1990 DL
Dalmore 1990 DL is a single malt whisky that was distilled in 1990 and bottled in 2004. It was aged for 14 years in American white oak ex-bourbon barrels and finished in a combination of Oloroso sherry butts and port pipes. This whisky has a deep golden color and a complex flavor profile of dried fruit, honey, and spices. On the nose, there are notes of orange peel, raisins, figs, and toasted oak. On the palate, there are flavors of dried cherries, figs, and plums, with a hint of smoke and a long, smooth finish. This whisky is a great example of the quality and complexity that can be achieved with a single malt whisky.
