Dalmore 1990 AD
The Dalmore 1990 AD is a limited edition single malt whisky from the Dalmore distillery in Scotland. It was distilled in 1990 and bottled in 2018, making it a 28-year-old whisky. The whisky was matured in a combination of American white oak ex-bourbon barrels and ex-sherry butts. It was then finished in a single Pedro Ximenez sherry butt for an additional two years. The whisky has an aroma of Christmas cake, dried fruits and dark chocolate, with notes of orange peel, sultanas and roasted coffee. The palate is full-bodied and complex, with notes of marzipan, dark chocolate, toasted oak and dried fruits. The finish is long and lingering, with a hint of smoke and spice.
