Dalmore 1980 is a limited edition single malt whisky from the Dalmore distillery in Scotland. The whisky was distilled in 1980 and bottled in 2010. It was aged for 30 years in American white oak ex-bourbon casks and then finished in Oloroso sherry butts. The whisky is described as having a deep amber hue and aromas of orange marmalade, dark chocolate and roasted coffee. On the palate, it has notes of sweet vanilla, dried fruits and spices, with a long, smooth finish.
