Dalmore 1979
Dalmore 1979 is a rare and highly sought after single malt whisky from the Dalmore Distillery in Scotland. It was distilled in 1979 and bottled in 2004, making it 25 years old when it was released. The whisky was aged in American white oak ex-bourbon barrels and finished in Matusalem oloroso sherry casks. The whisky has a deep amber hue, a bouquet of dried fruits, nuts and spices, and a palate of toffee, orange zest, and chocolate. The finish is very long, with notes of dried fruits, spice, and a hint of smoke. The whisky has a high ABV of 40%.
