Dalmore 1976 DL

Dalmore 1976 DL is a limited edition single malt whisky from the Dalmore distillery in Scotland. It was distilled in 1976 and bottled in 2009. The whisky is aged in ex-bourbon and ex-sherry casks for 33 years before being finished in a second sherry cask for a further 9 months. This whisky is a rare and sought after expression, with only 500 bottles produced. The whisky has a deep golden hue and aromas of dried fruits, almonds, honey and spice. On the palate, there are notes of hazelnuts, raisins, orange peel and cinnamon. The finish is long and smooth, with a hint of oak and a sweet, lingering finish.
