Dalmore 1964 JM
The Dalmore 1964 JM is a rare and highly sought after single malt Scotch whisky from the Dalmore distillery. It was distilled in 1964 and bottled in 1997, making it one of the oldest whiskies ever bottled by the distillery. It was bottled as part of the John Milroy Collection, a series of single cask whiskies released by Dalmore in the 1990s. The whisky was aged for 33 years in American oak ex-bourbon barrels before being bottled at a cask strength of 53.3% ABV. The whisky has a deep amber color and a nose of dried fruits, honey, and toffee, with hints of smoke. On the palate, it is rich and complex, with flavors of dark chocolate, spice, and nuts, balanced by a hint of smoke and a long, sweet finish. With only 675 bottles released, the Dalmore 1964 JM is a rare and highly sought after whisky.
