Chichibu 2008
Chichibu 2008 is a Japanese single malt whisky from the Chichibu Distillery. It was the first whisky released by the distillery, which was founded in 2008 by Ichiro Akuto. The whisky was distilled using a combination of malted barley and peated malt, and aged in ex-bourbon and ex-sherry casks for four years. It has a light golden color and a nose of honey, dried fruits, and sweet spices. On the palate, it is light and smooth with notes of citrus, honey, and toasted nuts. The finish is long and sweet with a hint of smoke.
