Chichibu 2008
Chichibu 2008 was a limited-edition Japanese whisky released in 2008 by the Chichibu Distillery. It was the first whisky released from the distillery since it opened in 2008. The whisky was made from a blend of malted barley, corn, and rye, and was aged in ex-bourbon and sherry casks for three years. The whisky was bottled at cask strength, with an ABV of 54.7%. It was highly sought after by whisky connoisseurs and collectors, and quickly sold out. The Chichibu 2008 has since become a highly sought-after collector's item, with bottles selling for hundreds of dollars.
