Bruichladdich 1965
Bruichladdich 1965 is an incredibly rare and sought-after single malt whisky from Islay, Scotland. It was distilled in 1965 and bottled in 2002, and was the oldest whisky ever released by Bruichladdich Distillery. This whisky was made from a mash of 100% Scottish barley, and was matured for 37 years in a combination of ex-bourbon and ex-sherry casks. The whisky is characterized by its intense, smoky flavor and a dark amber hue. It has been described as having a complex flavor profile, with notes of tropical fruit, honey, and spice. Only 750 bottles were ever released, making it an incredibly rare and sought-after whisky.
