Bowmore Mariner
Bowmore Mariner is a single malt Scotch whisky from the Bowmore Distillery on the Isle of Islay in Scotland. The whisky was first released in 2006 as part of the Bowmore Small Batch Collection. It is a 15 year old whisky, aged in ex-bourbon and ex-sherry casks. The whisky has a medium-bodied, slightly sweet flavor with notes of citrus, honey, and peat smoke. The finish is long and smooth with a hint of peat smoke. Bowmore Mariner is a great whisky for those looking for a taste of Islay without the intense peatiness of some of the other Islay whiskies.
