Bowmore Enigma
Bowmore Enigma is a single malt Scotch whisky from the Bowmore Distillery on the Isle of Islay. It is a limited edition expression, released in 2014, and is the first single malt whisky from Bowmore to be finished in a combination of five different cask types. The whisky is composed of Bowmore single malt whisky that has been aged in ex-bourbon barrels, Oloroso Sherry casks, Pedro Ximenez Sherry casks, Marsala casks, and Port pipes. The whisky has a sweet and smoky taste, with notes of citrus, toffee, and dark chocolate.
