Bowmore 2003 CWC
Bowmore 2003 CWC is a single malt Scotch whisky from the Bowmore distillery in Islay, Scotland. It was distilled in 2003 and bottled in 2019, making it 16 years old. It was bottled exclusively for the Caskers Whisky Club, and is a limited edition of only 599 bottles. The whisky was matured in a combination of ex-bourbon and ex-sherry casks, giving it a deep, complex flavor profile. On the nose, it has notes of sweet honey, toasted oak, and dried fruit. On the palate, it has notes of dark chocolate, smoke, and dried fruit, with a long, lingering finish. This whisky is a great example of Bowmore's signature smoky style, and is sure to be a hit with whisky lovers.
