Bowmore 2000 vW
Bowmore 2000 vW is a single malt Scotch whisky distilled in 2000 and bottled in 2020. It is part of the Vaults Series from Bowmore, which is a series of limited edition whiskies that are aged in ex-Bourbon casks. This particular whisky was aged for 20 years in a combination of American ex-Bourbon and Spanish Oloroso Sherry casks. The result is a whisky with a deep gold colour and a nose of honey, citrus, and smoke. On the palate, it is rich and complex with notes of toffee, dried fruits, and peat smoke. The finish is long and smoky with a hint of salinity.
