Bowmore 2000 vW
Bowmore 2000 vW is a single malt Scotch whisky from the Bowmore distillery in Islay, Scotland. It was distilled in 2000 and matured in a combination of sherry and bourbon casks. The whisky was bottled in 2020 at 46% ABV, non-chill filtered and without added colouring. It has a rich, smoky aroma with notes of dried fruits, peat smoke, toffee, and a hint of sea salt. On the palate, it is full-bodied and complex, with flavours of dark chocolate, caramel, sherry, and a hint of smoke. The finish is long and smooth, with lingering notes of peat smoke and sweet spices.
