Bowmore 2000 MoS
Bowmore 2000 MoS is a single malt Scotch whisky from the Bowmore distillery on the Isle of Islay. It was bottled in 2020 and is part of the Master of Malt series. It is a non-chill filtered whisky, meaning that it has not been treated with cold temperatures before bottling. This results in a whisky with more body and texture, as well as more of the flavors from the cask. The whisky has been aged for 20 years in a combination of ex-bourbon and ex-sherry casks, giving it a complex flavor profile. On the nose, it has notes of honey, toffee, and citrus, with a hint of smoke. On the palate, it has a creamy texture and flavors of peat, dried fruits, and spices. The finish is long and sweet, with lingering notes of toffee and smoke.
