Bowmore 1999 MM
XIX Bowmore 1999 MMXIX is a limited-edition single malt Scotch whisky from the Islay region of Scotland. It was released in 2019 to commemorate the 200th anniversary of Bowmore Distillery, which was founded in 1779. The whisky was aged for 19 years in ex-bourbon barrels, and bottled at a strength of 56.2% ABV. It has a deep golden color, with aromas of honey, caramel, and peat smoke. On the palate, it is smooth and sweet, with notes of malt, toffee, and vanilla. The finish is long and smoky, with a touch of sea salt.
