Bowmore 1999 HMcD is a single malt whisky from the Bowmore Distillery on Islay, Scotland. It was distilled in 1999 and aged for 15 years before being bottled in 2014. It was released as part of the HMcD (Hiram Walker & Sons Ltd) range, which was a range of whiskies bottled for the Canadian market. This expression was bottled at a cask strength of 57.7% ABV and is non-chill filtered. The whisky has a smoky, peaty nose with notes of honey, vanilla, and toffee. On the palate, it is sweet and spicy with notes of oak, dried fruits, and a hint of smoke. The finish is long and smoky with a hint of sweetness.
