Bowmore 1999
Bowmore 1999 is a single malt Scotch whisky from the Islay region of Scotland. It is distilled at the Bowmore Distillery, which was founded in 1779 and is one of the oldest distilleries in Scotland. The whisky is aged in ex-bourbon barrels for 12 years and then finished in Oloroso sherry casks. It is bottled at 46% ABV and has a deep golden color. The nose is sweet and fruity with notes of honey, vanilla, and citrus. The palate is full-bodied and complex with flavors of citrus, peat smoke, and sweet spices. The finish is long and smooth with a hint of smoke.
