Bowmore 1998 TWA is a single malt Scotch whisky from the Bowmore distillery. It was bottled in 1998 by the independent bottler, The Whisky Agency (TWA). This whisky is a vatting of two casks, a bourbon cask and a sherry cask, that were distilled in 1998. It has a deep, smoky nose with a hint of sweet sherry and a hint of peat. The palate is smooth and creamy with notes of sweet toffee, raisins and a hint of smoke. The finish is long and sweet with a hint of peat smoke. This whisky is an excellent example of a Bowmore single malt and is highly sought after by whisky collectors.
