Bowmore 1998 SV
Bowmore 1998 SV is a special edition single malt Scotch whisky from the Bowmore distillery on Islay, Scotland. It was distilled in 1998 and bottled at a cask strength of 57.5% ABV. The whisky is a vatting of ex-bourbon casks and Oloroso sherry casks and is non-chill filtered. It has a dark amber colour and a nose of sweet malt, toffee, dried fruits and a hint of smoke. The palate is full-bodied and complex, with notes of dried fruits, nuts, toffee and a hint of peat smoke. The finish is long and warming.
