Bowmore 1998 SMD is a single malt Scotch whisky from the Bowmore distillery on Islay. It was distilled in 1998 and bottled at cask strength in 2015. It is a limited edition bottling, with only 5,000 bottles produced. The whisky has a light golden color and a nose of toffee, honey, and citrus. On the palate, it is sweet and mellow with notes of toffee, honey, and vanilla. The finish is long and smooth, with a hint of smoke.
