Bowmore 1998 Distiller's Edition is a single malt Scotch whisky from the Bowmore distillery in Islay, Scotland. It was distilled in 1998 and aged in ex-bourbon casks before being finished in oloroso sherry casks. This whisky has a deep golden color and an aroma of sweet vanilla, smoke, and dried fruit. The flavor is full-bodied and complex, with notes of sweet caramel, oak, and peat smoke. The finish is long and smooth, with a slight hint of spice. This is an excellent whisky for sipping or mixing in cocktails.
