Bowmore 1998 DR
Bowmore 1998 DR is a single malt Scotch whisky from the Islay region of Scotland. It was distilled in 1998 and bottled in 2016. It was aged in first-fill ex-bourbon barrels and bottled at cask strength of 56.7% ABV. This whisky has a sweet and smoky aroma with notes of honey, toffee, and vanilla. On the palate, it has a smooth, creamy texture with hints of caramel, dried fruit, and peat smoke. The finish is long and lingering with a hint of smoke and oak. This whisky is an excellent example of a classic Islay whisky.
