Bowmore 1998 DL is a single malt Scotch whisky from the Bowmore Distillery on Islay. It was distilled in 1998 and bottled in 2019. It is a limited edition bottling, with only 1,000 bottles released. The whisky has been aged in a combination of ex-bourbon and ex-sherry casks, giving it a complex flavor profile. On the nose, it has notes of honey, toffee, and dried fruits. On the palate, it has a sweet, smoky flavor, with notes of peat, vanilla, and oak. The finish is long and smooth, with a hint of spice.
