Bowmore 1998 DD
Bowmore 1998 DD is a single malt Scotch whisky from the Islay region of Scotland. It was distilled in 1998 and bottled in 2018 by Douglas Laing & Co. This whisky has been aged for 20 years in a combination of refill bourbon and sherry casks. The result is a whisky with a deep golden colour and a complex aroma of peat smoke, dried fruits, and oak. On the palate, there are notes of sweet honey, toffee, and dried fruits. The finish is long and smoky, with a lingering hint of oak. This whisky is a great example of Bowmore's signature style.
