Bowmore 1997 JW is a single malt Scotch whisky that was distilled in 1997 at the Bowmore Distillery on Islay, Scotland. It was aged in first-fill ex-bourbon barrels for 19 years before being bottled in 2016. The whisky has a deep golden color and a sweet, smoky aroma with notes of honey, vanilla, and citrus. On the palate, it is smooth and mellow with a hint of peat smoke and a long, lingering finish. This whisky is best enjoyed neat or on the rocks.
