Bowmore 1997 JB is a single malt Scotch whisky from the Bowmore distillery in Islay, Scotland. It was distilled in 1997 and bottled in 2020 by independent bottler JB (Justerini & Brooks). The whisky is aged for 23 years in a combination of ex-bourbon and ex-sherry casks. It has a deep golden color and a complex aroma of honey, malt, vanilla, and dried fruit. On the palate, it has a sweet and smoky flavor with notes of peat, leather, and oak. The finish is long and smooth with a hint of spice.
