Bowmore 1996 CWC is a single malt Scotch whisky distilled by Bowmore Distillery in Islay, Scotland. It was released in 2020 as part of the distillery's Cask Strength Collection. This whisky was distilled in 1996 and matured in ex-bourbon barrels. It has a deep golden colour and a nose of sweet peat smoke, toffee, and orange zest. On the palate, it has notes of honey, vanilla, and oak, with a hint of sea salt. The finish is long and smoky, with a touch of spice. This whisky is bottled at a cask strength of 56.3% ABV.
