Bowmore 1995 SMS is a single malt Scotch whisky from the famous Bowmore distillery on the isle of Islay. It was distilled in 1995 and bottled in 2010. It was matured in both bourbon and sherry casks, giving it a unique flavor profile. The whisky has a golden color with aromas of sweet honey, toffee, and peat smoke. On the palate, it has flavors of citrus, dark chocolate, and peat smoke, with a long, smoky finish. This whisky is a great example of a classic Islay single malt.
