Bowmore 1993 SSW is a single malt Scotch whisky from the Bowmore distillery on Islay. It was distilled in 1993 and bottled in 2007 at cask strength. The whisky was aged in a combination of ex-bourbon and ex-sherry casks, giving it a deep amber color. It has a sweet, smoky nose with notes of honey, peat, and dried fruit. On the palate, it is smooth and sweet, with flavors of smoked malt, dried fruit, and a hint of oak. The finish is long and lingering, with a hint of peat smoke.
