Bowmore 1993 HMcD
Bowmore 1993 HMcD is a single malt Scotch whisky from the Islay region of Scotland. It was distilled in 1993 and bottled in 2017 by the independent bottler Hunter Laing & Co. This whisky was aged for 24 years in a single refill hogshead cask. It is non-chill filtered and bottled at natural cask strength of 53.2% ABV. The whisky has a golden amber color and a nose of sweet honey, toffee, and dried fruits. On the palate, it is smooth and creamy with notes of honey, caramel, dried fruits, and a hint of peat smoke. The finish is long and lingering with a hint of smoky peat.
