ibbons Provenance Bowmore 1992 McGibbons Provenance is a limited edition single malt whisky from the Islay-based Bowmore distillery. It was distilled in 1992 and bottled in 2015. The whisky is a 20 year old single malt that was aged in ex-bourbon and ex-sherry casks. It has a deep golden color and a complex aroma of honey, smoke, and dried fruits. The palate is full-bodied and smooth, with notes of dried fruits, peat smoke, and sweet malt. The finish is long and lingering, with hints of oak and smoke. This whisky is a great example of Bowmore's classic Islay character.
