Bowmore 1992 DL
Bowmore 1992 DL is a single malt Scotch whisky from the Islay distillery of the same name. It was distilled in 1992 and bottled in 2017 by Douglas Laing & Co. as part of their Remarkable Regional Malts range. It was aged for 25 years in a single ex-bourbon barrel, and bottled at a cask strength of 54.2% ABV. The whisky has a deep golden hue and a nose of honey, fruit, and smoke. On the palate, it is sweet and creamy, with notes of caramel, toffee, and dried fruits, as well as hints of smoke and peat. The finish is long and smoky, with a touch of spice.
