It was aged for 29 years in a single sherry butt and bottled at a cask strength of 52.9% ABV. This whisky has a deep, smoky aroma with notes of peat, dried fruits, and citrus. The palate is smooth and creamy, with flavors of caramel, toffee, and sherry. The finish is long and smoky, with a hint of oak and a hint of sweetness. This whisky is an excellent example of a well-aged single malt from the Bowmore distillery.
