Bowmore 1991 MC is a limited-edition single malt Scotch whisky from the Bowmore distillery on Islay. It was distilled in 1991 and bottled in 2017, making it 26 years old. It was matured in ex-bourbon barrels and bottled at cask strength, with an ABV of 51.5%. The whisky has a deep golden color and a nose of honey, citrus, and peat smoke. On the palate, there are notes of caramel, oak, and sea salt, with a long, smoky finish. This whisky is a great example of the classic Islay style, and is sure to be a hit with whisky connoisseurs.
