It was aged in a combination of ex-bourbon and sherry casks for a total of nine years. The whisky has a deep amber color and a complex aroma of peat smoke, toffee, and dried fruit. The palate is rich and creamy with notes of honey, toasted oak, and dark chocolate. The finish is long and smoky with a hint of sweet fruit.
