Bowmore 1991 DR
Bowmore 1991 DR is a single malt Scotch whisky from the Bowmore distillery on the Isle of Islay. It was distilled in 1991 and aged for 24 years before being bottled at cask strength in 2015. The whisky was made from malted barley and aged in ex-bourbon casks. It has a deep golden hue and a complex aroma of honey, toffee, and peat smoke. On the palate, it has notes of oak, spice, and smoke, with a long finish. This whisky is an excellent example of Bowmore's signature peaty style.
