Bowmore 1991 DR
Bowmore 1991 DR is a single malt Scotch whisky from the Bowmore distillery on Islay. The whisky was distilled in 1991 and bottled in 2012 at 20 years of age. It was matured in ex-bourbon casks and finished in Oloroso sherry casks. This whisky has a deep golden colour and a nose of sweet honey, citrus fruits, and a hint of smoke. The palate is full-bodied and complex with notes of dark chocolate, dried fruits, and a hint of peat smoke. The finish is long and sweet with a lingering smokiness. This is a great whisky for those who enjoy a complex and well-balanced single malt.
