Bowmore 1991 Clear Label is a single malt whisky from the Bowmore distillery on the Isle of Islay in Scotland. This whisky was distilled in 1991 and bottled in 2019. It is a limited edition bottling of only 3,000 bottles. The whisky is aged for 28 years in ex-bourbon barrels and finished in ex-sherry casks. It has an ABV of 46.8% and a deep golden colour. On the nose, it has notes of honey, toffee, vanilla, and oak. On the palate, it has a smooth sweetness with notes of dried fruit, honey, and a hint of smoke. The finish is long and smooth with a hint of spice. This whisky is a great example of the unique character of Islay whisky.
