Bowmore 1991 BA is a single malt Scotch whisky released by Bowmore Distillery in Islay, Scotland. The whisky has been aged for 25 years in ex-bourbon barrels and finished in Oloroso Sherry casks. It has a rich, smoky aroma with notes of dark chocolate, toffee, and dried fruits. On the palate, it has a smooth, creamy texture with flavors of sweet caramel, toasted almonds, and dried fruits. The finish is long and lingering with hints of peat smoke and a slight hint of spice. This is an excellent whisky to enjoy neat or with a few drops of water.
