Bowmore 1990 WD is a single malt Scotch whisky from the Bowmore distillery, located on the island of Islay in Scotland. Distilled in 1990 and bottled in 2006, this whisky has been matured in a combination of ex-bourbon and ex-sherry casks. It is a limited edition release, with only 1,000 bottles available. On the nose, this whisky has aromas of honey, vanilla, and toffee, with a hint of smoke. On the palate, it has flavors of peat smoke, toasted oak, and dark fruits. The finish is long and smoky, with a lingering sweetness.
