Bowmore 1990 SV is a single malt Scotch whisky from the Bowmore distillery on Islay. It was distilled in 1990 and bottled in 2019. It is a limited edition bottling, with only 1,500 bottles available worldwide. The whisky was aged in a combination of bourbon and sherry casks, and is bottled at a strength of 53.7% ABV. On the nose, the whisky has aromas of honey, toffee, apples, oranges, and a hint of smoke. On the palate, it has flavors of caramel, apples, oranges, and a hint of smoke. The finish is long and smooth, with a hint of sweetness.
