Bowmore 1990 Sherry Matured
Bowmore 1990 Sherry Matured is a single malt whisky from the Islay distillery of Bowmore. It was distilled in 1990 and matured for 15 years in sherry casks. It was bottled in 2005 at a strength of 46% ABV. This whisky has a deep golden colour and a nose of Sherry, dried fruits, and a hint of smoke. The palate is full of Sherry, dried fruits, and a hint of smoke. The finish is long and sweet with a slight hint of peat smoke. This whisky is a classic example of a sherry matured whisky and a great example of Bowmore's whisky-making skills.
