lelland Bowmore 1990 McClelland is a single malt Scotch whisky from the Bowmore distillery on the island of Islay. It was distilled in 1990 and bottled in 2018 after maturing for 28 years in a combination of ex-bourbon and ex-sherry casks. The whisky has a deep golden color and a complex aroma of dried fruits, sea salt, and peat smoke. On the palate, it is creamy and full-bodied with flavors of sweet caramel, toffee, and vanilla balanced by a light smokiness. The finish is long and smooth, with a lingering hint of peat.
