Bowmore 1990 JW is a single malt Scotch whisky produced by the Bowmore Distillery on Islay, Scotland. It was distilled in 1990 and bottled in 2020 by Johnnie Walker as part of their Special Releases series. This whisky has a deep gold hue and is matured in a combination of ex-Bourbon, ex-Sherry, and ex-Port casks. The nose is full of aromas of sweet, ripe fruits, toasted oak, and peat smoke. The palate is rich and smooth with notes of honey, toffee, and dried fruits, as well as a hint of peat smoke. The finish is long and complex with a subtle smokiness.
