Bowmore 1990 DR
Bowmore 1990 DR is a single malt Scotch whisky from the Islay distillery of the same name. It was distilled in 1990 and bottled by Douglas Laing in 2020 as part of its Old Particular range. It was matured in a single refill hogshead cask for 30 years before being bottled at cask strength of 51.6%. This whisky has a deep golden colour and a nose of toasted oak, honey, and dark fruits. On the palate, it has flavours of smoke, dried fruits, and malt. The finish is long and smoky with a hint of salt. Overall, this is a complex and enjoyable whisky that is perfect for sipping and savouring.
