Bowmore 1990 Distillers Edition is a single malt Scotch whisky from the Bowmore Distillery on the island of Islay. It was distilled in 1990 and bottled in 2006. The whisky was double-matured in ex-bourbon barrels and then finished in Oloroso sherry casks. This whisky has an ABV of 43%. On the nose, the whisky has sweet aromas of dried fruits, honey, and toffee. On the palate, there are notes of sherry, vanilla, and smoke. The finish is long and smooth with a hint of spice.
