Bowmore 1989 SMWS 3.78 is a single malt whisky from the Islay region of Scotland. It was distilled in 1989 and bottled by the Scotch Malt Whisky Society in 2013. It is a limited release of only 611 bottles. This whisky has a deep golden color and a smoky, peaty aroma with notes of honey, toffee, and dried fruits. On the palate, there are flavors of dark chocolate, dried fruits, and a hint of smoke. The finish is long and smooth with a lingering smokiness. This is a great whisky to enjoy neat or on the rocks.
